We are incredibly proud to announce that Mount Annan Leisure Centre is officially partnering with the Heart Foundation to bring a brand-new Water Walking Program to our community! Designed specifically for older adults, this initiative is all about helping our local seniors stay active, healthy, and socially connected in a supportive and fun environment right here at our facility.
Why Water Walking?
If you are looking for a gentle way to stay fit, our pools offer the perfect setting. Water walking provides a highly effective, low-impact workout that takes the stress off your joints while still delivering excellent cardiovascular and strength-building benefits.
Whether you are just starting a new exercise routine or looking for a safe way to maintain your mobility as you age, our friendly team has created a welcoming space for all fitness and experience levels.
To ensure our participants get the most out of their visit, the program also includes:
- A "Healthy Ageing" Talk: Learn practical tips, advice, and strategies for living well in your later years.
- Complimentary Morning Tea: Relax after your session, socialise, and build great connections with peers in your community.
